Intensive Reading
Book Club
Students will read and analyze a text together. Strong readers will engage with a novel. Students developing reading confidence will engage with an adaptation of the same work as a graphic novel or a play. Students will also be asked to consider the layers involved in the concept of “adaptation.”
Intensive Writing
Make Your Own Zine
Students will learn about zines as a means for self-expression, and through a series of creative writing exercises, they’ll create their own self-published booklet about a topic they’re passionate about. They will be guided through the process of choosing a topic, generating content, formatting, and publishing their creation.
Intensive Math
The Beauty of Geometry
Students will explore fundamental geometric concepts in more depth than is possible in the classroom by wrestling with fascinating problems that stumped ancient philosophers.
Humanities
What's Your Manifesto?
Students will practice reading, analysis, and writing, using the genre of manifestos. By studying existing manifestos about the ideologies and mission statements of political, artistic, and intellectual movements, students will be invited to consider how to articulate their visions of themselves.

CSI Forensics
Students will learn the basics of forensic investigation by doing hands-on chemistry experiments using common household supplies. These experiential activities will both spark an interest in scientific exploration and allow already-enthusiastic young scientists to dig deeper with materials that they encounter in their everyday lives.

Students will learn how to write a resume, ace an interview, and give a strong presentation. This summer workshop is ideal for students who want to develop their skills for a college, internship, or job application.

next to the session you want to attend.You will be able to click on this button starting 5 minutes before the session.
All courses will consist of four sessions, running Monday to Thursday at the same time each day.
The time and week will depend on what specific course you choose. To check your course schedule:

2. You will see a list of your upcoming sessions that will tell you the time and day of each.
The materials needed will vary between courses. You will receive more information on what you need depending on what course you sign up for. At the minimum, you will need a laptop or computer with a webcam and internet access, as well as a notebook and something to write with.
Most courses will require some additional work to be done outside of the session time. Usually, students should expect up to 90 minutes of extra work a day.
